Day 1: Bali to Banyuwangi – Crossing Islands & Local Charm

Your journey begins at 9:00 AM, departing from your hotel in Bali toward Gilimanuk Port. Enjoy scenic views of lush rice fields, the West Bali National Park, and coastal panoramas before taking a short ferry ride to Java Island.

Upon arrival in Banyuwangi, experience the city’s warmth with a traditional pedicab (becak) tour around Blambangan Park and the local market. Capture the rhythm of Javanese daily life before checking in at Ketapang Indah Hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: The Blue Fire of Mount Ijen & Transfer to Bromo

Before dawn, your guide will take you to Paltuding Base Camp, the starting point for your trek to Mount Ijen. A two-hour hike (around 3.5 km) reveals one of Indonesia’s most surreal wonders — the Ijen Crater, glowing with its world-famous blue fire phenomenon.

As the sun rises, admire the turquoise crater lake surrounded by sulfur vents, then relax over coffee at the base before driving toward Probolinggo, the gateway to Mount Bromo. Lunch will be served en route, and you’ll check in at Lava View Lodge for a good night’s rest.

Day 3: Sunrise over Mount Bromo – Return to Bali

At 3:00 AM, set off by 4WD Jeep toward Penanjakan Viewpoint, where the first light of day paints the sky above Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. Watch as the mist rolls through the caldera — a surreal scene often compared to the moon’s surface.

Continue by jeep to the Bromo Crater, explore the sea of volcanic sand, then return to your hotel for breakfast and checkout. After lunch at a local restaurant, travel back to Bali, concluding your unforgettable adventure.
