Overview
Bali Mangroves are unique coastal ecosystems consisting of dense vegetation that grows in saline or brackish water. They play a crucial role in protecting coastlines from erosion, providing habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal species, and serving as nurseries for many fish and marine organisms. The tour will be explored the mangrove forest in the southern part of Bali while enjoying free time at the mangrove forest above Jukung. These traditional boats are found on all beaches in Bali.
The mangrove tour will be conducted by JTB Indonesia cooperating with fishing group of "Wana Segara Kertih," who have developed and preserved the area. They can provide valuable insights into the ecological significance of mangroves, their conservation efforts, and the local communities' reliance on these ecosystems for their livelihoods.
All children are given an "ECOLOGY MANGROVE TOUR CERTIFICATE". Children age up to 12 years old.

- The child policy has a minimum age of 5 years and a maximum age of 11 years. The insurance covers those from the age of 5 to 65 years old.
- We provide life jackets for all tour participants.

What To Expect
Pick-up is available from the most centrally located hotels in Kuta, Legian, Tuban, Sanur, Jimbaran, Tanjung Benoa, and Nusa dua areas. For other areas with additional charges. Pick-up from other areas is not recommended.
- Ubud, Canggu, Pecatu, Uluwatu, Tabanan, and Tanah Lot will be charged USD 10 or IDR. 150.000/Person
- Candidasa, Singaraja will be charged USD 20 or IDR 300.000/Person

The tour starting and finish points will be at Wana Segara Kertih at Kedonganan. Our tour guides will educate you on the flora and fauna that you may encounter and see throughout the tour. Mangroves are resting sites for hundred of shorebird and migratory bird species. Numerous nomadic birds move here from Australia during winter.
