Overview
Visit Candi Kuning fruit and flower market with its exotic wild orchids, roses, and even strawberries! The higher land of Bedugul has cooler temperature compared to the rest of the island. En route, stop by, and see the stretched land all the way to the ocean.
Bedugul is located 850 meters above sea level, with serene Lake Beratan filling the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru and the local people honor the goddess of the lake at a temple built on a small strip of land. The temple is called Ulun Danu temple, which is derived from the word Ulu (top) and Danu (lake), and is the source of water irrigation to the land below. The Balinese famous Subak irrigation (which is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site) system begins here from the lake.
Afterward, go up to Munduk Village and marvel at the sight of the beautiful twin lakes. Enjoy a sip of local coffee before continuing to travel along the coast of Lovina and pass its famous black sand beach, stopping for lunch (at your own expense). Continue with a visit to the old town of Singaraja, Bali's former capital city.
Your next stop is GitGit waterfall, passing through a lush and green rainforest, where you'll take a pleasant stroll to the fall. The waterfall is approximately 30 meters high and in the rainy season, the water vapor is so dense, visiting here will end up soaking your clothes. End your tour with a return trip back through the magnificent scenery of Bali, before eventually reaching back to your hotel.
